Right now I am not much of a Twitterer but your suggestions are good for any social media sites. I was really interested in your point of looking at my account. Since I don’t go on Twitter very much I realize that I should go and see what people are saying in case things that are being said are not part of my value system.

I block people who swear or use the N word instantly…
I use twitter a little bit… But I guess I would have said those were ‘understood’ rules.. ( although the #3 that you listed is not totally clear in my mind either.) Thanks for the tips and heads up. I will do some checking up on my twitter and see whats going on.

Tweeting too much was a rule I had not thought of, you are so right!
I have to say I was quite disappointed when I found out I had spam on my twitter account, is there a way to avoid this?

Hello Carla,
many people don’t realize that there are rules as well as etiquette.
the unspoken rules are the best part of your video:
1.Language (and how you use it)
2.Being Insulting(be nice!)
3.making alienating comments(keep being nice!)
4.tweeting too much! (I am on the other end of the tweet spectrum!)
I tweet very inconsistently at the moment.

Yes, I am really quite amazed when people ask me why I unfollowed the when their Twitter stream is full of swear words and insulting tweets! 🙂
