Clean Up Your LinkedIn Invitations

LinkedIn invitations are limited and you want to make sure you keep track of those who accept your invites and those who don’t. Here’s how to go in and delete the old connection requests that haven’t been accepted.

Thank you for this information. Many people I find do not clean the areas necessary not only in LinkedIn but many social sites.

This is a great video Carla…I just spent 15 minutes cleaning my request…LOL Some of them were so old! I’m glad I did it…I don’t use LinkedIn enough I’m sure…I know it is a great platform but I am so much on facebook!

Twitter is the most fun and the one that really needs the consistent attention.

This is a great tip that a lot of people don’t realize they need to do. As you pointed out, there is a total cap on the number of invitations. Your tip is a great way for people to open up this queue and “unstick” their account. Great little video Carla,

this is great. I wrote to linkedin and the opened my account for unlimited connects. I keep updated twice a day with cleaning up all areas.

I was not aware of the invite cap. I am though a bit better with my LinkedIn invitations versus my Twitter DM inbox…lol. Thank you so much for putting the video together for this.
The one thing about LinkedIn that I like is them trying to encourage you to completely fill out your profile. On a network like that, especially for individuals looking for jobs, that transparency really helps.

Thanks for the great tutorial and tip. It is always good to eliminate clutter, whether it is your e-mail inbox or your social media accounts.
If we want our social media to work for us to it’s full capacity, we must keep all aspects clean and efficient.
Mine needed a little cleaning up, so I took care of that and resent some invitations.
