Create Your Own Branded Email Address

By

One of my pet peeves is the amount of money that some companies charge per month to host branded email for you.

If you have your own self hosted website and access to cPanel you can follow along on this video and create your own branded email!!

What is your pet peeve with social media?

Please do leave your comments and questions here on the blog.

Thank you Carla for these simple instructions. It’s nice to know I can get something more out of Host Gator besides hosting my blog. I was rather confused by what’s in the back office there.
I will come back to this when I have a bit more time to tackle it.
    Thanks again!

Yes Lynn I know exactly how you feel about cPanel. The first time I saw it my eyes glazed over! 🙂 But then someone showed me how to do one simple thing and I have been building on it ever since.

Based on what I have seen you do in the past months we have been connected I’ll bet you do the same thing!

    tks

Great tips Carla. I have recently found the amazing value of MailChimp. It allows me to send out professional HTML emails and provides me with valuable statistics, and it’s all free.

    Love sharing tips.

    Hi Colin!

Yes Mail Chimp is an excellent free tool to manage and send out email.

    An excellent place to start.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment.

    Thanks Don!

It really is one of my big pet peeves at how much companies charge for something like this!!

    Hi Carla:

Thanks for this and all your easy-to-understand videos that are so helpful. I have struggled with the cost of email companies, as well. I started with Aweber, added TalkFusion, then went to Priceless Possibilities because they had text and video e-mail service, then found SimplyCast where I am now. At $4.95 a month, it fits nicely in my budget at a time in my business when I don’t yet have a huge list. It’s fairly simple to use, and they have really good tech people, which is what I need! Just thought I’d throw that out here for anyone who is looking for a cheap alternative.

Do you do all your email marketing through your cPanel?

Wishing you a song in your heart,
