His movie Pursuit of Happyness is one that I have watched again and again
and with each watching learn something that assists me in living my life
just a little bit better!
This mindset will definitely have an impact on your social media presence.

This man is an awesome talented person…. he is one of my favourite actors.
While I have not see his movie Pursuit of Happiness I have seen most of his “action movies”.
For some reason my internet connection just would not let me download the video…will have to come back and watch it.

Thanks for posting this very powerful video! There are all kinds of wonderful gems that we can learn, grow, and live by! The one that caught my curiosity was about “Realism is the road to mediocrity.” I like to take risks, but I do like for them to be calculated risks–risks that I believe that I can pull off. I believe there is a time to think about things without boundaries, but in narrowing the choices, I think I need to be realistic (like skill set, availability of resources, timeframe, etc.) on what I can possibly achieve.

Good stuff, Carla! It is amazing to me how little we give this credence. I read an article recently from a neuroscientist who said that our thoughts actually take up “real estate” in our brains and build upon our DNA. Pretty powerful stuff those thoughts! Maybe that’s why the Bible says, “Whatsoever things are good, think on these things!”
I love his attitude and thoughts on making the world better! I always respect people who are not into something just for themselves. And his building a wall one perfectly placed brick at a time is beautiful. His father gave him a great gift by making him and his brother build that wall. Great thoughts!
I love how he talks about the difference between talent and skill. The expert in us all comes from hours and hours of working on our skills. Thanks for sharing this video, Carla.

I have seen that video several times. It’s a good one. We need this kind of mindset if we will be successful in anything but especially in business.

I love this video so much! It takes guts to live your dream and believe totally in your own power to make things happen.
I have always done what others would consider reckless and risky but such a certainty comes over me when I make a high risk decision that I simply can’t ignore it – I hate to think what my life would be like if I listened to the limiting beliefs that others have about my life!

I have always enjoyed watching Will Smith in films. Seeing him on video, sharing his powerful views of life and success, is a real treat. Now I will appreciate his movies even more. Our thoughts are certainly powerful entities. Sometimes we have to hold onto our thoughts and dreams, very strongly, to prevent others from squashing them.

I love that movie. It is truly inspirational.
I find that life works out no matter how it looks, and whenever there is a challenge, there is aqn opportunity if only you don’t focus on what is wrong and look for a solution.
Will is such an inspirational and powerful individual. He has so much insight and it plays a key role in his successes without a doubt. It really caught me by surprise the first time I heard him speak outside of a movie since he’s known for being a funny man!

Great video, Very inspirational. I love what he said about his work ethic. The MORE we do creating, tweaking, marketing our blogs, the more followers we will have, the more success we will have. Simple. We must stick with it and we must keep trying. I also like what he said about building a wall. You lay each brick the best way you can and pretty soon you’ll have that wall just the way you envisioned it. In the book Pursuit of Happyness, the subject of that book also had an incredible work ethic and he taped a phone to his hand and wouldn’t untape it till he made all the sales calls he needed to make. At first people in the office thought he was crazy. Once they saw his results, they started taping their hands to the phone receiver as well. This was way before cell phones! LOL

I love me some Will Smith!! I have seen this video many times but can watch it over and over! The treadmill part in the video is just classic!
Goes to show that if you keep pushing forward, work on mastering your craft and getting better everyday, the world of success opens up to you.

Hi Carla: Thanks for putting up this video. I saw it before about a year ago and it is very inspiring. Sometimes we all need a refresher. On this video, Will Smith clearly makes all of us look deep within and tap into our greatness. Everyone was put in this world for a purpose and sometimes all it takes is a simple video like this to awaken the sleeping giant. With this kind of mindset, I am not surprised that Will Smith is one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.
