It really is amazing how many companies believe that social media is just not for them!
So many people initiate their search for a product or service online. One of the big factors in choosing where to spend your hard earned dollars these days is what other people have to say about your product and service. AND bigger still how you handle those comments, what people are saying, good and bad.
It goes a long way when customers and clients know that the CEO gives a damm about what they have to say. I discovered this graphic a while back and it really had an impact for me.
When CEO’s respond it does not have to be a great big explanation on how things work in the company. It goes a long way for people just to know that the CEO is taking time to look at what people are saying about his company.
Twitter is such a fantastic way to make this happen simply because you only have 140 characters. It doesn’t take a lot of time and can have a huge impact. It does not mean the CEO has to respond to every single comment or question, occasionally will work well.
Treat people with respect and they will come back and when you use Twitter it can be quick and easy!
